2010 A4 Prem+ w sport package undergoing mods for optimal performance. Currently researching the most efficient,effective and best bank for your buck intercooler that can support all planned mods.
Comparing CTS, APR, AWE, ECS+ charge pipe kit, Forge, and Wagner.

Current mods thus far:
1)AWE Catback dual exit w quad pipes.
2)Injen cold air intake.

Future:
1) Down pipes system.
2) Tuner.
3) Boost tap.
4) Intercooler.
5) ECS baffled oil catch can.
6) Plastic intake manifold replacement.
-- any brand suggestions on this?
7) Transmission mount +/- other drivetrain mods...

Please stick to topic in question. Other Threads on similar topic end up diverting substantially from initial question at hand.

Looking for characteristics for best airflow, cooling abilities, pressure drops, etc. I.E. making data comparisons of the actual characteristics that an intercooler should do. AND pros and cons of your intercooler upgrade experience.

I'm not a track racer, but would not mind trying it occasionally. Mostly looking to improve performance and take my ride a step or two further than factory stock.

I have a 09 A4 2.0t with APR II tuned with K&N air charger, 034 HFC , AWE stainless steel cat back dual exhaust with quadtips. When i was deciding what performance intercooler i wanted I looked and looked. Then I decided on Intergrated Engineerings IC. It stated It would increase UP by 30HP which I didn't think was bad. It mounts very easily and has the book up for the water meth hook up. If not it has the plugs for it. I'm getting ready to put a HPA K04 on it in the next week or so and I can't wait. I'm still trying to decide if I'm staying with APR because the guy at HPA is trying to give me the sweetest deal. One advantage is i can upgrade it at my house instead of driving an hour away to go to stage3. So still up in the air at the moment. But I hope this helps you a little because IE was cheaper than APR. Good luck
