Default Crank no start after disconnecting battery

2010 Audi A4 quattro auto, was replacing fan control module, disconnected battery for approximately 5 mins hooked battery back up and car won’t start, lights on cluster won’t come on, radio screen won’t turn on either, if I push odometer button, mileage will display, checked fuses by ecm, interior driver side and pass side all look fine, car was starting fine prior to this and started fine 15 mins prior of doing the work on the car, not sure if there’s a reset that needs to be done, key fob locks and unlocks
any advice will be appreciated!

I would check the fuse block on the positive battery terminal. Do we assume you just removed the negative battery terminal in the trunk to disconnect the battery or did you remove both +/- . Also what is the voltage at the battery. Did you have any problem getting the terminals on.

Fuses are both fine on positive battery cable and under windshield shroud, only disconnected the negative side of battery

Did you try to read any codes on the OBDII port. Also you might want to call the dealer service manager and ask if there is a reset. You also might want to try a system reset where you remove both the positive and negative battery cables and touch them together for 5-10 seconds. then reconnect them as you would normally do.

Got it to start! Double checked all fuses and there was on on pass side that wasn’t making good contact, removed and it had previously been replaced and it had a small coating of corrosion on pins, replaced it and all lights came on and car started up!
Thanks
But now fans aren’t working even with the new fan module 🙄
