Default DVD Changer for MMI 3G+

Looking to install a DVD changer in my 2011 A4 which has been upgraded from the originally equipped MMI 3G with navigation to the newer MMI 3G+ with navigation (the one with the SIM card and google maps). Does anyone know if the one I'm looking at, 4H0035108D, will work? If so, does anyone know where to get a retrofit harness to hook it up and if there's anything else I'll need? Thanks in advance!

Of topic but really interested.....how did you upgrade your 2011 A4 Navigation Unit to the Google maps and SimCard? my 2011 only has regular HDD Nav and 2 SD card slots, no Google and no SimCard?!

I was fortunate enough to find one over on the Audizine classifieds and was able to make a deal on it. Once you're lucky enough to find one at a reasonable price, installation is a breeze as the units are a direct swap. Only hiccup is that you'll likely need to make a trip to the local Audi dealer to have component protection removed. Only cost me like 15 or 30 minutes of labor.

What was the reasonable price? And looks like you had to remove the whole console to get to he screen, and I assume the unis was behind the screen.

Back to the topic:
Aren't the new units playing videos of the USB flash drive? U wouldn't need a DVD changer.

I was able to get the new unit, the new buttons around the shift selector, a gsm antenna, and an extension cable to use the car's built in gsm antenna (part of the roof antenna unit) instead of the included gsm antenna all for under $2k. The only thing that needs to be replaced is the MMI unit, which is in fact just the module with the two SD card slots. Replacing the buttons around the shift selector is optional as there is a work around to make the old buttons work.

The reason I want to have the DVD changer is because I have a bunch of concert DVDs that I'd like to have loaded rather than having to switch them out all the time.
