Fuel Guage Light not illuminated

Fuel Guage Light not illuminated
Good Eveving all,
I have an Audi A4 Avant 2011 and noticed today after turning the dashboard lights up that the Fuel Guage is not illuminated. The Dial is lit although not the Guage itself. All the other lights are working fine. Just wondered if anyone has or knows any reason behind this? Many Thanks

Well, the obvious answer is a bad bulb or LED used to light the gauge. Either that or a bad connection or cold solder joint. The only way to know for sure is to pull the instrument cluster and check it. The cluster is relatively easy to remove from the dash. You can probably find a YouTube video for doing it.
