A4. Nothing was said about the diesel though.

Diesel is coming, they (AoA) just don't know when yet. One day. . .
Audi AG and AoA will learn how to market cars here in America. When? Well, I've been waiting since 1984, and they haven't got it right yet!

I will keep driving my B6 until the 3.0 TDI finds it way here. If not, I may get
the MB 2006 CDI diesel. But, my guess Audi will produce this diesel and we'll see it mid summer.
Just a guess. Hopefully, the wait is not too long once available.

Re: would you get the turbo if you got another A4? or the 3.2L?
I would consider the 3.2 but knowing a big turbo setup would power me up to around 330-350 HP, (as they are completing 2.0 set up now).
I guess I would have to look at the cost difference and how the 3.2 runs. It's supposed to be a better motor but torque does not start pulling until 3k rpm. So it will not be the fastest off the line but should be an efficient smooth engine.

I totally agree
Even if I stuck to the ecu change, I'd be getting 241hp/292lb-ft off the $599 APR 2.0T stage I program. This is what keeps me wondering if the 2.0T should be the next engine.
Plus, it seems like there would be a weight savings of about 100lbs by sticking to the 2.0T.
However, last time around I found Audi's 6 cylinder to be much smoother than the 4 cylinder 1.8T. With the 1.8T I would constantly feel this buzzing vibration that was beyond my level of acceptability. But it is highly possible that with the 2.0T they have lowered the vibrations to a level I could live with.

no turbo's for you? Interesting. I figured with your penchant for mods, you might go that route.
What is it that keeps you from a 2.0T, and modding it to a stage II or III?
