I hate the wait

Meanwhile, my car insurance agency (which knows nothing about my car purchase) decided to mail all its clients a letter, stating that it was changing insurance carriers. Since I don't want to do business with the carrier they're switching to, I have to make a mad dash to find another agency that deals with the insurance carrier I currently have. The new agency says it would be beneficial to me to have my auto and homeowner's policies with the same company (big discount), so I have to deal with that too. Well, my current agency is going to be very unhappy to hear that they are losing my business.
Anyway, with a sunny weekend forecast, I'm really hoping I get my new car. I will post pictures, eventually.

Since my dealership is only 5 minutes from my job, I went to look at the car. Well, it turns out the “nick” is nowhere near as bad as I thought it was. It’s a minor abrasion, about a half inch long, on the upper crease of the fender. Immediately below it is a slight indentation, about the size of the head of a pin.
My salesman said it was up to me to decide how I wanted it repaired. Since it was so minor, I told him that as long as it is completely undetectable, they could spot touch it up if they liked.
Fortunately, my dealership maintains a very highly regarded body shop -- they work on Lamborghinis and aluminum-bodied A8s -- so I feel confident they will do a good job.
The only other problem is that due to the repair needed, and registry/license plate issues, I won’t get my car now until Monday or Tuesday. And my g/f and I already had this great drive planned for this weekend. Oh, well, what can you do?
By the way, I got to see the car in the bright sunshine for the first time, and man, is it dark! I know it’s called Deep Sea Blue, but that must be some dam# deep sea! Unless you look at the car at the right angle, it looks like it's black. Not bad, but I was expecting something a little lighter.
Hopefully, I’ll have some good news to report on Monday.

But I am fairly confident I will have by Tuesday of next week at the latest.
Hmmm, (cough, cough), I think I feel a sick day from work coming on!
