Just got my 17" RWC AD53 wheels installed with Nokian Hakka R last Friday.
Sure beats the 15" steel wheel with hubcaps I had on my previous B5 !

Nice! They're like mini-copies of the a5 sport wheels. I think I'm getting the 09 base wheels (17", six spoke) not as cool looking, but equally functional and oem.
This winter wheel search has been very trying for my 2010 a4. The new hub size pretty much eliminated the secondary market. To top it off, tirerack has wheels that require fit kits, and on principle, I don't want rings or another set of lugs.

RWC also has them in 18" and 19", but 17" is O.K. for Winter...
As far as the hub size goes only this model and the RS4 replicas had the larger hub size from RWC, so it kind of limited the choice !

I purchased a set of 18" Moda's from tirerack and they did not mention the need for new lugnuts or fit kits?? Am I going to run into problems when I try to install?

I believe they'll send the nuts and centering rings. It's there on the website if you click on details of the wheel (after you've chosen the car). When I asked them if they had any direct bolt-on wheels, they said no, but perhaps I'm wrong.
It should be fine if you use the kit, I just wanted to make my wheel switch idiot-proof.
