Default A little late, but another new owner here...

Took delivery on a lightly used (3000 mile) Ibis White 09 A4 quattro 2.0T Premium Plus on Tuesday. Its got the beige interior with the almond ash wood trim. Personally I'm not a fan of the aluminum trim in light interiors, so the wood was a nice touch. I'm coming from a 2006 VW Jetta GLI, so its a bit of a step up. I few first observations:

-Yes, this car does have the slight vibration at around 65-70mph. I didn't notice it at first since I was driving my 87 Audi 4000cs quattro for a week with its 22 year old suspension. (anything is smoother then that car)

-The A/C in this car is suitable for hanging meat. The GLI didn't get all that cold.

-I do kinda miss the paddle shifters and the DSG transmission in the GLI. I do have to say that the tiptronic in this car is MUCH refined compared to automatics I have driven in the past. I have no complaints about its drivability and the lower maintenance costs. That DSG transmission oil is expensive!

-The onboard bluetooth doesn't seem to work right with my Windows Mobile smartphone in terms of phonebook transfer. The phone prompts me when the car connects if I want to send the phone book, I click yes to the prompt and then... nothing.

-The iPod interface is slick, way better then the CD changer style controls of the past.

-Controls for the MFD could be a bit better. On the Jetta, it was easy to cycle between the various reads (average MPG, miles to empty etc.) and to switch between trip computer 1 & 2. Everything was on the steering wheel on the Jetta, on this car its a combination of the steering wheel and wiper stack. Awkward, but I'll get used to it.

For the WinMo phone.. If I understand the salesman correctly yesterday, you have to send the contacts 1 by 1 if you have a Windows Mobile phone. He said that the A4 can grab the phonebook from my Blackberry though.

Anyone else have experience with a Windows Mobile phone and an Audi?

I have a WinMo phone (AT&T Tilt) and have had no problem with transferring my phone book to my 2006 B7, the 2009 B8 I had as a loaner for 2 weeks and my 2010 B8 I picked up yesterday. I'm an old guy who is not particularly techno-savvy, so I can't diagnose the problem. I just know it should work.

The phone in question is a Samsung Omnia SCH-i910 on Verizon. Some research online shows that this is a common problem with some WinMo phones. I'll figure it out eventually.
