Default Neeed Help Locating Wind Deflector

I don't seem to have any luck locating a wind defelctor for my 09 A4. The noise from the sunroof can be unbearable. Has anyone found one online? Thanks

there is one, but it very small. I also noticed the unbearable noise and made a post about it a couple weeks ago, we came to the conclusion that its a pressure problem and one or both of the back windows need to be cracked to resolve the problem. This is rather ridiculous since im sure a taller wind deflector would take care of it as i do not need to open a window in my lexus nor my mercedes, but such is life. There is also a "silent position" which is the position roughly 80% open, or to the notch on the ****, although i have found that this has not really helped the sound situation too much in my case.

I'll try opening the back window. Does this solve the problem completely? I also noticed that when I open the sunroof it will not open 100% unless I hold the **** to the opne position. Is this normal. Thanks

yes, the first position is supposed to be the "silent position" which clearly does not work very well, in order to open fully you would need to twist the ****. Opening the window does solve the problem to some extent, but then you have to deal with a bit of the noise that is caused by the open window. Nonetheless, the open window is better than keeping it closed and listening to the unbearable sound of the pressure of the moon roof, but i still feel Audi could have done better in this feature of the car as it remains one of my only criticisms after five months.

I agree they could have come up with a solution. In any event, I wonder if a 2008 sunroof defelctor would fit on our cars. I have a friend with a 2008 so I can measure both openings. It may take a a while to find them time.

Not only have they not come up with a solution, the problem seems to get worse with each generation of the A4. My B6 had the same problem but it wasn't nearly as bad as the B8.

Oh well, I live in the northeast so there is only about a three month window to use the darn thing anyway.

I have the same issue! It is so odd that moving through air at physiologically impossible speeds with a giant, gaping hole in the roof of my car would make noise.

Clearly the problem is that we evolved with ears. My solution has been to encapsulate myself in a glass and metal container, devoid of open holes, effectively isolating myself from the outside environment.
