new 2012 A4 jukebox question

Default new 2012 A4 jukebox question
OK i guess i have 2 questions. Just wondering if the jukebox can display album art on the A4, i've seen it on youtube for an A1 and A6 and up. I couldnt make it work if it does (i'll figure it out)

also. Does it support itunes playlist files? i'm hearing conflicting info.

I am using an MMI plus

i'm guessing with the playlist file, its a matter of telling the playlist file to locate the song on the sd card, but itunes uses the E:\name.m4a

format

maybe have to figure out the format the jukebox will recognize

ok so i figured out the playlist problem, that was easy

so basically I just need to know if it can display album art

Current/3G MMI will not show album art. It has been confirmed that the new MMI for MY13 A4 will, since it's the newer version from A1/A6/A7/A8.

opened the playlist file in notepad and just removed the directory it listed for the files to just the file name of the track.

Worked with no problem after that, hopefully that helps

And just to be clear here, when you access lists on the jukebox now, in addition to the four supplied "Artists" "Tracks" "Albums" "Genres, it lists your playlists also?

I have an old disconnected Iphone 3s hooked into the Ipod cable in the glove compartment. I though the jukebox only copies mp3s. I doesn't rip CDs either? I assume you play music directly from the memory card?

By the way my 2012 A4 B&O does not let me voice tag radio stations like my 2009 A4 did.

the jukebox imports my aac files just fine, even the protected ones from itunes. I did it to test and had no issue. I deleted them since its easier to just update the sd card
