Hey all,

With some of the lovely weather in Chicago I got the lovely surprise of a hit to my front end. I am trying to replace the grille and headlight that were broken, and when I took off the front bumper cover I noticed two hoses that appear to just open up to the atmosphere. I am worried that these are not intended to just vent like this, but I can't see where it may go to (nothing open that I see on the radiator, AC condenser, etc.). One is on the drivers side, the other on the passenger side. Since the passenger side wasn't hit I am feeling like that is normal?

Can anyone let me know if you may know what these may be? Looking at the service diagram and I can't tell, may make sense as I am getting everything back together too.

I think they could be the ones from the headlights, they just dangle down behind the bumper if I remember right. Did you trace where they come from?

Thank you so much. I didn't trace the one on the passenger side since I was losing light fast, but pulled up the schematic of the headlights, definitely appears to be the case. Since the headlight was basically shattered on the inside, I am 99% sure this was it. Thank you so much, no longer concerned about having just open lines spitting whatever out.
