possible to make ET45 w smaller bore rims fit?
So I grabbed a set of S4 replica wheels w/ snows for this winter, and made sure they were 5 x 112- but did not know that the B8 A4 had a 47 offset with a larger centre bore (dumb I know)
So I tried putting them on this past weekend- bolt holes are fine- but the centre bore is too small- and will not fit on the A4 - so am I SOL - or can I get a nice thin spaced that has a larger bore on the hub side and smaller on the wheel side? I know there are spacers that work the other way around?
Thanks in advance-

I've heard of people getting that center bore opened up by machining. Don't really know how feasible (or safe) that is.
Can you sell the wheels and re-purchase the correct parts with the 66.6mm center bore?

Yes, unfortunately that is looking like what I may have to do - it's too bad these are nice gunmetal S4 rims..just more time on craigslist now..

ET means nothing without telling us the width of the wheels.
You could machine out the centers but in most cases it's not recommended.
You're better off looking for another set.
