Jack, if you are working on a 4 cylinder Audi A4 B8 car, the 35,000 mile interval is a bit pricier due to the spark plug change and CVT ( Name: icon_razz_zpsvxsyb00m.png

Jack, did your sales rep discuss AudiCare with you when you purchased the car?

I don't think so, they were trying to bundle up their local $2700 package which I denied. Because in order to take advantage of that, I had to visit them everytime.

It's been almost 4 years. I don't have Audi Care with me. Is it a good idea to get one?

Also, is it a good idea to extend warranty which is expiring soon (after 4 years)? Any idea how much it costs?

Thanks

No, too late for AudiCare.

Others have done the extended warranty thing. I don't have any current experience, but you can search here and find a lot of dialogue on it. Might be worth considering given the transmission in the car...

Sure, Thanks for your inputs.

For Audi Care as far as I remember when I researched on this, it doesn't 100% cover everything so we still have to pay something out of pocket.

Stealership rates always seem high! As they charge you a retail premium price on all parts and fluids. Ask them the cost if you provide parts and fluids, but then you have to source and buy all the parts.

The last two Audis I purchased (2014 B8.5 A4 Premium Plus S-Line and a 2014 Q7 Premium Plus 3.0T) both had Audi Care packages with them. I didn't pay a cent for the 45k service on either vehicle.

I have not purchased from an Audi dealer yet, and I would buy the extended warrant and review the cost of service plans, when I get my next Audi. I have an extended warranty on my car right now, so if anything major goes out like the turbo, engine, or trans it will not be a major expense. I have been to my share of shady service departments Audi of Clear Water, FL, Auto Nation Ford of St Petersburg come to mind.

I would question why they want to put useless Zmax in your car at all? and how can they list so many thing as "Complimentary" that has an $860 price tag.
