I have a 2012 A4. I connected my iphone to the audi music interface for the first time yesterday, and played musis, without a hitch. Today, I had trouble getting it to work. It wouldn't initialize. When I did finally get it to work, it cut out after a few minutes. Maybe a fault in the adaptor cable?

Cable is usually the first thing to check. You could also try another iPod/iPhone first/

Mine does that sometimes. I usually restart the phone and if that doesn't work restart the car. But from my experiences the phone restart works 95% of the time.

Turn off & on the phone should be able to make it work again.
