Josh,
Maybe it is just some kind of glitch. I'm sure the dealer can sort it out easily for you.
Beautiful color. I'm sure it's just the flash, but the mirror almost seems like the S4 mirror cover.
Congrats on your purchase!

Congrats on the new Wagon Josh. It looks very gooooood. I am wondering if you took the "lens cap" off the camera? They have a black sticky tape over the lens to protect it in transit. Perhaps it is still on there?
I'd bet the air conditioner was better on the way home in the Dallas 101 heat today then in the Jeep on the way over.

no lens tape, camera is free and clear. MMI doesnt even move off whatever screen you are on when I throw into reverse. My guess is maybe the car was programmed incorrectly or was not put into the service program profile and is still in transit mode???
As suspected, dealer delivered with 45 PSI all around, going to run 35f/36r (wont ever haul more than gas and two pax).
Thanks for all the support on the camera so far - will call dealer and let them figure it out but its def not working correctly.

Congrats on the new Avant Josh, looks great!
Regarding the back up camera - your 2011 was probably a late build - so maybe it's impacted by the missing back up camera chips as are the MY 2012's (supply problem from Japan)? For the 2012's the dealers will schedule an appointment to install the missing chip when they are in stock. Not sure the process for the 2011, but there is a pdf of the letter from AOA to the dealers somewhere either here or on Audizine.
In any case your dealer should be able to confirm.
All the best with the new ride.

Were any late 2011s delivered without the backup camera enabled due to the earthquake in Japan?

Definitely! I always appreciate the beautiful Italian lines of the A5. Signor de'Silva did a marvelous job. How could he not having mastered the art while at Alfa Romeo.
...And A5's look really nice when I pass them.

A5 is not exactly an A4 coupe - it's wider and lower and the suspension is a bit different, but I guess they are close enough. If you are a strictly "by the numbers" kind of car buyer, the A4 definitely makes more sense.
