S-Line comes with standard pedals?
Someone posted a great photo of the S-Line interior. It looks damn good.
I did notice that all 3 pedals (MT) and the dead pedal were plan jane black rubber.
I guess this car has to be a Euro spec but I would have hoped that there was some stainless/aluminum down there to round the package out.
Will the US get the standard pedals in the S-Line package?
Thanks

I didn't realize that sport pedals were such a high end touch with Audi.
I guess I could save a a bit of money and get an STI if I wanted more power and nicer pedals, although the exhaust tips would still be the same as the A4.
So basically only the S4 and RS4 have had the racer boy pedals?

What's the point of anything that is cosmetic?
Nice 19" rims instead of just plain jane 19's.
A nicely finished exhaust or just plain tips.
Better lines on the front bumper of the S-line versus the standard front.
Nice ambient lighting in the car when driving.
Your car in your favorite color.
All these things make the car better? No. But you might like the car better and since you're the one spending the money, you are getting want you want.
Just my opinion though.
One could argue that the sports pedals do give you a better surface to plant the foot on during spirited driving but who really know?

I was under the impression that sport pedals always had rubber inserts.
Either dots or lines of rubber to provide relief that a softer show could get a better bite on. I guess that why driving shoes are fairly soft soled as are leather driving moccasins.
The Phaeton had 2 pedals and a dead pedal of this style and I would call this a more luxury than sport sedan.
Anyways, I doubt that you would get less grip with a pedal like this since it supposedly is on the RS4. I would think that just the opposite would be the case as RS4 owners will likely beat the **** out of their cars.
In the end it makes no difference since we'll be getting all rubber pedals that have served the masses for decades and I'm sure they will be good enough for me.
