Just curious if anyone has used the SD card option and can answer a quick question. When you restart the car after leaving it, does the SD card reader remember your place like a cd player. For instance, if I had an audiobook file that is 1hr long and I'm 10 minutes in and then I go to get gas and come back will it start at the beginning of that file again or will it resume where I left off? Just curious.

With NAV you won't have the SD card reader.

That's what I thought...odd you lose SD card reader when you pay for Nav. Oh well.

It does, but only if you switch off the card in the SD mode. If you switch to CD and back, you will be starting from the beginning

when you have NAV, the MMI is a MOST system, whereas the non-NAV ones are CANBUS. The difference is that you have put in an AMI or a Dension iPod interface and have the control and playlists/song names/info displayed by the MMI. You don't need a SD card reader. If you record you music using the Apple Lossless or AIFF format the quality of the music is miles better than MP3.
