Default Tire Pressure - 2012 A4 18" Sport 5-Arm

Been cold lately (for SoCal standards).

TPMS gave alert yesterday while driving to work. All tires seem a tad low when checked (between 30-34 PSI).

Just wondering what everyone is running with the 18" wheels.

Thanks!

See your Owner's Manual. It's the only place you'll find comprehensive inflation pressure for car sold in the USA.

I see the recommended PSI listed on the door pillar but I thought that was for a full load.

Just wondering what everyone is running...

Like the poster above you said, check the owner's manual. There are plenty of people who drive with improperly inflated tires so I wouldn't take into account what others have their tires set at.

Correct, the B pillar label only shows MAX load (5 -150lb humans and 5 suitcases). This is a USA-only thing.

I have a '10 18" sports package. Owner's manual says 32f/29r for low load, and 33f/35r for full (which is what is on the door).

After some experiments, I've settled on 33f/33r as the best combo. Note that this 33psi at 68F before driving. If you are measuring/pumping at a lower temperature, say low 50's, you can go down to 32 front and rear.

Yeah, that's pretty close to what I'm running in both our cars. I tend to set them around 34F/32R. (I over-inflate the tires the night before and bleed air off before driving the car the next morning.) I typically run the snow tires set ups a bit firmer, maybe 2 psi more.

I have yet to have 5 people and 5 suitcases in the car. The B pillar info found on USA cars is dis-information..thanks to the US Congress and their attempt at "doing good".

I set to the following per my owners manual:

32 front
33 rear

This is for a regular load.

For a 2012 A4 car? They must have changed the recommendations. There's a shot from my 2011 A4 (4cyl) car:
