Two issues
Hi Guys,
The car is an 2009 A4 tfsi 211PS SE. I've had these two issues since almost new which Audi accept but cannot resolve - understandable with one as it is intermittent. Issues are:-
1. A slight rotational sounding grating noise which lasts for about 5/8 seconds after a journey. It is intermittent and when it occurs there is not usually time to get the bonnet up to try and trace it. It's obviously rotational in nature and you tend to think pulleys, tensioners, water pump, alternator etc. Anyone had something similar?
It's becoming more frequent and hopefully doesn't fail on a journey before I can isolate it. Anyone had any of these components fail?
2. An unusual exhaust vibration / resonance/ rattle - again after a journey when the car is hot and ticking over. (Not the normal "tinging" of a hot exhaust.) It is rythmic in nature. Audi have changed one box and say they changed the catalytic converter but the noise is still there. They accept it's still an issue.
Any help appreciated.
