Well son of a *****... no new spiffy brochures at McDaniel's Audi in Columbia, SC...
I needed to pickup a new set of wiper refills for my A4 anyways so I headed out to the local dealership in hopes of scoring wiper blades and the much ballyhooed new A4 brochure. Ended up failing on both counts. I forgot the parts desk closes at 1pm on Saturdays and the only take-aways they had on the A4 were the little teaser pamphlets that were out quite a while ago.
The agent I spoke with was excited about the new cars though, they're going to call me when the demos get in which he indicated should be by mid to late August. Cars for customers should be in around September it sounds like. He also confirmed that their cars are here in port, but not released yet. They're apparently getting three demos here in Columbia - no word on the configuration on those.
And I've been pleased with McDaniel's Audi presence. Much better than the rinky dink operation that was being run out of a Subaru/Hyundai dealership when the franchise was under the previous owners. Plus it looks like they're already getting prepared for disappointed customers... just in case.

Anyone got a PDF of this wondrous brochure yet? My plan was to get two, one for me and one to cut up and scan at work for y'all but, alas, I was denied.

First of all its no longer McDaniel's Audi
It's owned by my dealership group Donald Automotive Group. See Bill Taylor the GM there and just say the Giraffe sent me and watch his face. If you need something with product questions contact me. No one other than him has worked there for very long. He was my used car manager when I started with Audi here in Charlotte.

Same goes for Boardwalk Audi in Dallas (Plano). Guy said they weren't out yet...
He even said that he hadn't received full '09 pricing, so he couldn't comment on the pricing delay. Maybe I got a newbie.
