What do you think about the new AFS promotions? Does $1500 off only apply to existing AFS lessees?

Default Yes only for current AFS customers with.....

An A4 or S4 sedan, Avant or Cabriolet with a lease with the dates shown on Edmunds. No one else. It's pretty self explanatory.

Default You Bet!

Audi likes to take care of its AFS customers."Restrictions: AFS Lease or Premier Purchase customers returning an Audi A4 or S4 Sedan, Avant, or Cabriolet with a maturity date between 11-3-08 and 1-5-09 are eligible"

Default That $1500 would've been great two weeks ago!

I should've waited...but then again, who knew.

Default I believe that there already was an incentive for cars delivered before end of 2008...

I know for Canada it was $1500 for 2006+models and $1000 for 2005s. But I believe that there was something similar for the US.

I 'ordered' (read: put money down but cannot be put into AIM system) my B8 in May, expecting to get the car and incentive before end of 08. Now that manuals won't be here until ??Feb-April?? I lose my incentive, however my dealer is honoring it.

Default An incentive for returning your lease?

This is the first time I heard about a lease-return incentive with Audi...all that was available (to my knowledge) was that they would finish the last few payments on my old lease since I returned it early and waive the disposition - which most companies do anyway when you lease from them again...but the additional $1000-1500 wasn't there.

Default I'm on a lease extension...

...and get my new car today.

My salesman says I'm not on the AFS qualified list because my lease technically ended in October. Since my lease was extended through November, and I paid for the additional month, he's going to see if Audi will accept the lease extension as a qualifier.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed....I'll know in a few hours.

AofC_RR what is your opinion on Premier Purchases? For what buyers does this program make sense for?

Default My experience on this from the dealership *today*...

Just picked up my new 09 Avant Prem+. Asked dealer about the new lease deals since I had just signed last week. What the above numbers don't show is that they dropped the residuals so the monthly amounts stay the same or may actually be slightly higher.

I was pissed that AFS wouldn't budge on allowing me to get the 1,500 incentive because the lease on my 07 A4 officially ends 1/17/09.

Oh well. Love the 09 already.

A Premier Purchase is against the law in my state. So I have no first hand experience
