Does anyone know if you can program the interior LEDs to go red when you are in 'S' / Dynamic mode...this was something that was supposed to be standard on the Premium+ S4 but we believe they removed it and only put it on the Prestige. When we start up our cars, the interior LEDS go red then turn to white and stay white.

that was my first experience on coding a vag var and I am not familiar with terminilogy. While trying to code laptimer, I saw "long coding" in the instructions and "long coding" was also there on the window I am changing bits. However, I realized the instructions for the needle swap it says "coding" not "long coding". But I tried to activate lap timer with the same byte that is for needle swap. So my coding is wrong and am not sure I can do it with my fake, old version, not fully working VCP. I will check again as soon as possible.

I am also looking for used (and cheap) VCP or VCDS.

Has anyone figured out how to keep the DRL's at full brightness even when the lights turn on?

Or how to change the sensitivity to the auto high beams? My high beams are constantly going up if a car isn't in front of me, even if the road is lit up like a Christmas tree.

Apologies - I know covered before but can’t seem to find it at all : what’s the vcds vag com instructions for :

1. enabling rear tail lights with the DRL?
2. Close trunk / hatch lid with remote?


i saw something that appears to be for obd11 but not for vcds

Anyone tried the "Welcome Sound" coding? As demoed in this video?
I made the following changes last night, and after resetting MMI, I got the welcome sound when I turn on the car. However, it doesn't seem like the setting is sticking so I am wondering if anyone's tried this?

A point was made, in another forum, about carplay/android auto being displayed in the virtual cockpit. Both the R8 and TT with VC have no other screen and are able to display the navigation from carplay and android auto. Is there a way to code our VC to show the navigation, from our phones, rather than the compass image?

Can only do this if you have a powered rear trunk, not a manual one.

Hi guys,

Any idea how to activate the red trajectory guidelines on the right visual display ?

Recently retrofitted PLA (previously only come stock with rear sensors) at a local workshop but they are unable to get the red guidelines out. Wonder it can be done via coding ?
