Just wondering if it's possible to enable ECO mode in US spec A4?
Still do not understand why they disable it here. Some of us do want to save gas in bad traffic....
I think this one is on the coding wiki.

You need a HEX-Net or HEX-V2 interface to access all modules in a B9, older HEX-CAN aren't capable of doing that even with the newest VCDS.

It's hard to recommend one. OBD 11 Pro is unbeatable cheap and a good start to the occasional fault check or coding change. VCDS with HEX-NET (unlimited) or HEX-V2 (limited number of VINs) is reliable but still lacks long coding documentation. VCP is cost wise in the middle and can do more incl. firmware changes but is also dangerously powerful.

Just to let you know, Im in the Uk with a B9 A4. I activated traffic sign detection recently. Im just about to hit the hay, but i think It was in the 5f module and adaptions. I just activated it there and now the traffic signs show up when I drive past them on my Nav screen.

I think the issues you guys might be having is getting the system to recognise NA traffic signs?

Any traffic sign shown on the MMI display is from the navigation database, only the traffic signs shown in the DIS/VC are based on real time traffic sign recognition via camera.
