great stuff here, new to audi but came from BMW and we had lots of coding options. 1 thing i missed from my bmw was the auto closing of windows once ignition is turned off. is there a way to keep the windows rolling up even after the door is opened? this was one of the most convenient codes i did on my bmw. i could auto up all the windows and get out of car and they would continue as i lock the doors.

thanks!

No. The nearest equivalent is closing the windows by pressing the lock button on the key.

Is that a standard feature or does it have to be coded? I don't remember seeing it in any of the usual places. If you have a link I would be grateful.

It's in the owner's manual.

I'll take a look at lunch. I'm not certain the US/NA models do that. God forbid we cut off our arm in the window! :-)

I think the issues you guys might be having is getting the system to recognise NA traffic signs?
Care to share how you did this? Since we use the British Road Signs in South Africa, my hope is that following your guide, I'll get it working on my Q5 down here in South Africa.

Thanks

Standard feature. It is enabled in the MMI. The windows can then be closed when locking and opened when unlocking by holding the appropriate button. It does all windows + sunroof.

Its standard with the convenience key, which is standard on P+ and above in the US.

That isn't traffic sign detection. Those are the speed limit signs saved in the navigation data. Traffic sign recognition would show up in the VC and the head up display.
