Default 2017 A4... what is the correct wheel offset?

Hello every one,

I know this must have been beaten to death already somewhere in this forum but am getting so much different information for the proper wheel offset on the North American (Canadian) 2017 A4 B9 17" and 18" setup.

Have a 2017 on order (should arrive late August, the wait is already killing me) and want to get my own winter wheels. I have the 18" Audi setup but the dealer recommended that I get 17" for winter wheels.

Now that's fine and easy enough to get tires info for that but I already have a set of BBS rims with the right lug pattern 5X112 and 66.6 bore (7.5Jx17H2 offset 45) and just need to know what is the proper offset on the 2017 A4 B9

I have found the following info that would suggest that my BBS rims would fit but again from an internet site...

WHEEL SPECS AND TIRE SIZES (2015 — ….)
Bolt pattern (PCD): 5 × 112
Center Bore (CB): 66.6
Thread size (THD): 14 x 1.5
Diameter: 16 — 20
Width: 225 — 255
Aspect ratio: 30 — 55
Smallest — Largest tire size: 225/55R16 — 255/30R20
RIMS SIZES (2015 — ….)Diameter: 16 — 20
Width: 7.5 — 9
Offset: 38 — 47

Anyone has the 17" offset from the manufacturer?

Thank in advance.

ET of 38 for 17"... wonder if spacers of 5mm would work for my BBS 17X7.5 ET45 rims or should I wait for the car to arrive and make a test install?

Where are these values from? wheel-size.com has completely different numbers, and I've seen others on here reporting different numbers than these.

I can confirm 19x8.5 ET40, haven't looked at my own 18x8 yet but I would trust adg44 and his numbers.

They are quoting B8 offsets, not B9. My numbers are correct.

Hi guys, standard OEM 18" wheel offset for the last few years, both 17" & 18" on a standard or Quattro Audi A4 is 47mm. CHeers!

Those may have been correct previously, but we're talking about 2017 A4s. The numbers adg44 quoted above are correct.
