2017 Audi A4 2.0 = German grenade?
Hi folks,
So, I'm considering coming back to the land of misfit German toys. Anyone running a high mileage B9 A4 with a 2.0 and S tronic? If so, what are the common faults? From what I understand, the whole timing chain guide exploding engine issue has been sorted out as well as the oil consumption requiring new rings challenges.

I'm currently at 71k miles. I have had APR stage 1 tune for 60k of the miles. Major repairs: Water pump and drive shaft. Brake rotors got warped as early as first 10k miles. I have done 2 DSG flushes both very clean fluid. Last week did a clean on intake carbon deposits, only a little bit of build up on the stem but not the valve covers.

I'm around 36k but the most common issue I know of is leaking coolant. Had mine replaced under warranty last month, fortunately. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be any major mechanical flaws or issues that I'm aware of. There's been a few who have mentioned being over 75k but most seem to still be under 50k. I did a few quick searches and didn't find any other major issues. Love the car but I still don't plan on keeping it beyond the extended warranty. The potential expensive repair costs scare me and I'd rather trade it in when it's still young to, hopefully, get more back.
