I have absolutely no experience with a situation like this (which I guess is a good thing), so I'm not quite sure what my options are or what is reasonable to ask for.
May I ask was this a premium or prestige?

I’m just about to hit 2600 miles on mine and so far, it’s been good.

It's a Premium Plus. My car was also running perfectly until it was not.

Ugh. I’m currently on a road trip - got 700 miles coming up Friday that will hopefully be issue free.

if you can, would be great to know the outcome with your car and if Audi does the right thing and replaces the car with one that is confirmed to not have the same defect (once they know what it is).

I will be sure to update this thread as I get new info from dealer/AoA. If anyone has dealt with a similar situation, I'd love to hear about your experiences with AoA. Thank you!

I would honestly like to believe this is an extremely isolated incident. These engines have been regarded as nearly bulletproof. Hopefully you get yours sorted out quickly and keep us informed of what happens.

Agree, 45k on mine and it's good as the first day.

Im sure it's a one off.

Mine is at 85000km, not one single issue on the drivetrain.

I have the same car just in black, If my motor blew at 2300 miles best believe I would want a new car. By no means would I except just a new engine.
I don't care if it was my first Audi. Sorry about your car man hope it all works out for you smh.

I'm heading out to pick up my car with new motor. Any thoughts on things I should be looking out for, things I should be documenting? I have an AoA case open.
Thanks.
