1 week ago (Jul 3), the dealer I had been emailing told me that he had 2019 order guides for only the A6 and up. Nothing for the A4 yet.
At this point I'm betting Audi won't say anything official about the A4 until after the new BMW 3 drops, which will probably be like November. That way Audi can say "look we have something new too". :-/

They are still building 2018s. The focus for this year is now the exec level sedans and the Q8. Just like last year the focus was all the other cars in the lineup

The 2019s begin production on July 30th 2018.

For ROW perhaps. There is not even a build guide for a US A4 as of yet, so production on those will not start at the same time.

That's what Donlen says. Usually they're very accurate

cars only get assigned a 1 week build time, and the factory shuts down for a period of time in August for the summer break. I can assure you US spec cars are not starting production end of July. If they were, we would be able to order them. As of now, and continuing through end of the month, they are still 2018 Tech cars only (Summer of Audi cars). The 19 order guide is only out there for the Q7, A6, A7, A8, but no pricing yet

That is correct. My 2018 Prestige A4 just got built last week. It is strange that Canada got the order guide for 2019 and US didn’t. I guess the strategy is to assign the US 2019 MY to the new Facelift instead of building a short lived 2019 and then be forced to call the Facelift 2020.
