A4 B9 2018 Hands free Bluetooth disabled
I've just purchased a 2018 A4. When pressing the telephone button, the mmi display just hangs on a please wait screen. If I go to the factory reset menu, the telephone option is greyed out/disabled and says "Unavailable". If I go to the Bluetooth settings, the hands free profile is also disabled/greyed out. If I go to the connection manager, I can successfully connect my phone via Bluetooth for audio streaming, but if I try to connect it as the primary phone, it just says "Connection cannot be established".
I've tried doing a hard reset, by pushing the button combination, but unfortunately it didn't change any of the above. Does anyone have any other ideas I could try before taking it to Audit

It was, but you won’t like the solution. I took it back to the dealership who sent it to Audi. Audi tried a few things including an update to the MMI but nothing worked, so they said the only solution was to replace the entire Bluetooth module which cost the dealership (not me thankfully) £3000. I’m not saying you will need the same thing done, but that’s how it was resolved on mine.
