Default B9 A4 for 100K miles?

Hey folks,
I usually like to buy my car and keep it for a decade (yes i know boring). I am very seriously contemplating getting a A4 quattro (2018 or 2019 is yet up for debate). This would be my second car ever (first non japanese car).
Is this is a reasonable expectation to keep A4 for about a decade 80-100K miles? (without spending ridiculous money on upkeep) I have been told by a few people if this is what i want I should get a lexus but... I really dig the a4 and ES has no 4wd ....

Recent Audi’s easily go 100,000 miles with no major problems. Heck, I bought my S6 and my first A6 with about that many miles. My last three Audi’s I sold with well over 100,000 miles.

Even I would love to on my new car, but I decide to lease instead because I don’t really trust all electronic stuff in the car.

I intend to keep my 17 for at least 10 years.

Previously kept a B6 model for 9 years and 85k miles, no problems outside of warranty. Timing belt was a kick in the teeth, but knew that going in. Audicare is a great way to cut the expense on the first years of ownership.

I usually keep my cars for a long time also.

I've always bought Japanese cars and never had a problem. They last forever.

This is my first German car. Frankly I don't trust it to last that long. The repair costs are insane. If I do plan to keep it I will look into an extended warranty. I'm sure with the repair costs that too will be very high.

Here is one thing I do not see. Older Audi's, BMW's, or Mercedes. I just don't see many driving around.

Think about how many BMW's were sold or leased 10 years ago. Where are they now?

I love this car. It was a special gift to myself for my 50th birthday. I'm pretty sure it won't see my 60th one.

I love the way the car drives &hope to drive it another 10 years.

Any tips on how to keep it "maintained"?(without of course paying $50K over 10 years on maintenance )

Learn to do basic stuff like oil and brakes yourself. That will save you a lot. Keep up with the recommended maintenance and you should be fine. If you take care of the car it will still look and drive like new at 100k miles.

You don’t see used Audi’s in your neck of the woods because they get shipped north to snow country. We have a large number of used A4s here in CT I see them everywhere.
