Brake shift malfunction
Hi all. I bought a couple of months ago a second hand a4 b9 2017 virtual cockpit 2.0 ultra premiun with a "small" accident. I live in curacao and be imported from USA. After all repairs and new painting the brakes doesnt work. The mechanic bleed it and put a new master cylinder. The new problem came in. You can start the car but when you press brake to shift get a message like "press brake and button to shift" also the pre sense system show a malfunction. I dont know if they are pre sense its the reason that can not shift i dont think so. If you tell me go to audi dealer the only audi dealer in curacao dont get cars to check or service that are bought outside the island. So its not a solution. Any ideas? I really apreciate your help guy

Wow- tough situation. I would order OBD Eleven Pro and see what errors show up. Clear the codes and try again. Maybe the brake switch is faulty so it will not allow you to shift the car. Pre-Sense is involved with the front camera system. If the windshield was replaced, it needs to be calibrated by an Audi dealership before it will be operationally.

Hi. The car can start but can not shift from park to drive or neutral.
