Driver Assistance showing up after 40k service?!?

I saw it today in my PP also, normally don't have that screen on.

Correct, this is part of predictive efficiency assist. It's getting its data from the navigation system, not traffic signs. The only traffic signs the camera can currently read are speed limit related.

Did you take your car in for a service? Or did it just happen all of a sudden? Because it hasn’t happened to my A4 yet. That is why I’m asking,

Haven't been in for service for over 9 months. But I didn't look at that screen until seeing this thread.

Took my car in for the 30k service on Saturday. They said there was a "Quality Update" to the front camera(upper windshield) that was due. I can only assume this is what is making that new screen populate. I havent seen it yet, but then again, I havent driven on any of the roads I know that show me the little green shoe. Ill report back when and if I see anything.

Interesting. Have you activated anything via OBD11 or in the MMI for it?

No, but it was the first time I looked at that screen (after seeing this thread) so no idea if it worked previously.

Any chance Audi is rolling out remote MMI updates?

I guess Im confused, what screen are you going into? Is it not just popping up on the regular screen when the green shoe is visible?

Sorry I wasn't clear, I switched to that screen at the start of a drive and it popped up as I approached the first intersection. Haven't tried with that screen off yet.

Just had cataract surgery so still adjusting to my upgraded eyeballs ;-)
