I always noticed my sound was a little bit off. I have a 2018 A4 with premium B/O sound. I am getting the following two faults when scanned with my OBDeleven: Does anyone know which speakers these are? How can I diagnose this issue?
This is definitely a known issue. The fix is really dreadful. They replace the front door woofer with an "apparently" better revision speaker. But then they also update the B&O amp with new parameters to send less Bass to those speakers to avoid them blowing again.
Just put better speakers in the door, especially if you are out of warranty.

That sucks. Any suggestions for better speakers? and when I install them, do I have to code the new ones in as well?
You will need an 8ohm 6.5inch - 8inch speaker with a relatively high sensitivity to replace the OEM speaker. You won't need to clear any codes. The moment the new speaker is detected it works.
I have these same error codes on both side. The B&O Speakers sound no different than day one. Only major issue I’ve had since day one is a passenger side door panel vibrations at low frequency that def sounded like a blown speaker, but when you put pressure on the door card with one finger, the rattle goes away and sounds just fine. I’ve had audi look at this at least 7 times since taking delivery late 2017. The most recent repair - more felt, more felt and more felt and it does sound much better now. They did replace a “blown” door speaker once, but when I picked up my car I was able to easily replicate the problem again on the spot. It’s just a rattle in the door card. Seems easy enough but 2 Audi shops have struggled fix it again and again.
overall the B&O system in the A4 is just good at best. Nothing to brag about it. But not sure what’s creating these error codes or how it’s affecting the sound system.
It would seem odd for it to be popping open circuit errors, at a frequency counter of 10 thus far, if the speakers are working fine. But like Bruce advises, probably nothing to do about it until there's a real issue evident to the ear.
B9 B&O door speaker rattle might be a separate subject with content already out there in the forums. Don't know. Sounds more like it could use some strategically placed dynamat for weight, or something more substantial than felt for more fastener pressure.
I put my ear to it and I didn't hear a thing when I had something playing.
I agree, the B&O sound system isn't the best but I would like to have these speakers woofing for me if it helps in the slightest.
Bruce was responding to black cat's post, not yours. If yours are dead, replace them. But don't just replace them with the same thing; it'll just blow again. Maybe even with the updated OE speaker if you don't get the software update.
