No, no evidence of speakers ever being blown out. Just passenger door card rattles as stated. But I do have the open circuit errors for both doors and the system sounds just fine. That’s my point.

I would give the same suggestion as Bruce, ignore the errors if the speakers are working or replace if they’re truly blown out. I would be hesitant to pursue a software update to “fix” sound distortion but that’s just me. Lowering the 3D sound effect seems to be preferred amongst some owners. I does help with distortion in some ways, but also consider what’s your audio source and formats are. It’s never consistent.

I wasn't responding in that post to your condition of error codes and working speakers. I was responding to the OPs condition of error codes and not working speakers.

Technically yes that will work. May not give you a big uplift in sound though.

Im curious why not…what other speaker would you recommend? I saw a few recommendations on this site but they look to all be back ordered/discontinued. Is there a certain wattage or frequency I should be looking for?
