Golf pedal caps compatible?
Are golf mk7 pedals the same as A4 B9? Just wondering because there are some silver s line trim type pedals for sale for the golf. I'm sure there's some sharing of parts between the mk7 and B9.

They are certainly not going to be the same part number, so unless someone has sat them side by side and visually confirmed them "same enough", there's no way to know remotely.
The Audi Golf is the A3, not the A4. The Golf and A3 are both 5Q parts bins. Just looking at the pics in the parts catalog, the Golf and A3 pedals are drawn the same, the A4 pedal is definitely different. But those are just diagrams.

All the vehicles at VAG are internally designed with some type code, which the part numbers associated with that start with, the parts bin. So EA888 Gen2 longitudinal engine parts generally start 06H. B9 A4 is type 8W so parts generally start 8W.... Golf and A3 both seem to use a lot of 5Q... parts. There's always cross use, and sometimes a part from a bin isn't even used on the vehicle of that type code. But it's a very rough general way of guessing part application.
