Default Heated side mirrors

This is a silly question but in the MMI under the engery consumption it tells you if your running heated seats, heated sterring wheel, AC, etc... does it tell you if your heated side mirrors are on as well?

It was very wet outside this morning and Iturned on my heated mirrors to dry up the water and the MMI never showed that they where on when I had the **** turned in that direction. Basiclly I need to know if I need to take my car to the dealership lol.

I know I've seen it displayed in the energy consumption list on our A4 allroad. Are you sure you didn't have to scroll down to see it (if there were a number of energy systems in use).

Funny, I had the same issue. I know 100% in the past it did show up, but last week I noticed it was not there. I'm coming due for my 10k service, so I figured I'd ask the dealer then.

The heated mirrors ONLY function when the outside temp is 40 degrees Fahrenheit or below. You cannot use them to dry up water...they are thermostatically controlled and cannot be reprogrammed to function regardless of outdoor temperature. Bummer!

To add on this, do the heated mirrors only work when set to the "defrost" setting at 6 o'clock on the turn ****? Or do they automatically come on with the rear or front defrosters?

I'm not so sure. It never gets that cold in Los Angeles, but my heated mirrors turn on when I need to defog from a humid night (I park outside, near ocean, car is often coated in heavy dew)

They do not turn on with the rear defrosters. Only the mirror **** when turned to 6:00 as was stated above.

this info came straight from Audi as I was concerned my mirrors weren’t working either.
