Hissing sound when accelerating after dealer service
Hey everyone. I had my water pump fixed on my 2018 A4 under warranty at a dealership. When they finished and I drove off the lot the car was making a loud vroom sound when accelerating, I turned the car around and they said some hose wasn't connected properly. Took them like 5 minutes to fix it.
Now I'm noticing that when I accelerate there's a sort of hissing sound like air's escaping when I accelerate on the highway.
Do you guys think this pipe that's next to the coolant tank could be the cause or is this normal? It doesn't look like it's plugged in all the way. I'll probably have the dealer look at it again but they're an hour away.
There's a piece of rubber(?) that's folded awkwardly.

Yes, that could be the cause of it. It's easy enough to re-seat that yourself. Looks like the clamp might not even be tightened down. Slide the duct on all the way, tighten the clamp. Take it back to the dealership if it's still making the sound after that.
