ION system?
Hey all!
I just collected my new, shiney A4 Black Edition, my first virtual cockpit, nice except for the ludicrously convoluted settings menus! WTaF!?
Anyway, I have an alert displayed top right of my MMI saying that the ION system is currently unavailable.
What is this, why is it unavailable and why is ther no mention of it in the manual?

Yes, a photo would help. I've never heard of/seen an "ION system" message on an Audi.
You're sure it's not something longer like "Bluetooth function currently unavailable" or "Automatic start/stop: system fault! Function unavailable."

It's a brand new A4 Black edition, S-Line, 35 TDi Registered on Friday, UK.
I've take a photo of the MMI just after taping on the ION icon so has the error message too.
ION in top right, sorry for the glare!

How disappointing: expensive car, high tech screen and a stupid bug means I have to live with an erroneous "fault" displayed on the screen.
Shoddy! very shoddy Audi!

I managed to fix this by factory reset and then sucessfully completing the setup wizard.
I find that I could not do that with my myaudi account, HAD to use the keyfob code.
