Default Key less entry system problem!

Hello everyone...
Since last car wash I have some issues with my driver door key less entry where the system doesn't unlock the doors as soon as I put my hand behind the door handler. All other doors are working except the drivers door. I went ahead and opened the door handler and swapped the sensor with the back door sensor, but driver's door still not working, the back door works fine. So I assume there's no issue with the sensor.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

I just did a scan with my OBD11 and my issue pop up as you can see below! I assume my only option is to pay the dealership service to fix it for me

I don't know how this works, but...
After more than two weeks of not having the driver's door handler sensor working, out of nowhere, everything came back to normal and I can open and lock again the car with the sensors on the handler.

I hate this kind of issues where something doesn't work and few days/weeks it starts working again. I'm so disappointed with the built quality of this car - as much as I love the way it looks and drive. I never had any similar issues with my previous Acura or wife's Lexus - where, if something is stop working, well, 100% is broke!

You said it started after a car wash. Commercial? Perhaps water was forced into somewhere it would not normally get to and created the problem. Then it finally dried out.

Yes, I had the same thought that the water was the issue since the sensor stopped working after a car wash, but came back to normal after 1-2 weeks. I was expecting Audi to do a better job on sealing those sensors and electrical contacts, etc...
Not commercial - We have 2 guys in our underground at the office garage that run a car wash which is pretty convenient since I can drop the car in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day all clean.. I'll have to keep in mind next time I ask them to do a car wash!
