How do I get my car to become louder for less than 500$? Buy a late 80's Honda Civic with a fart can muffler!!!!

To add some constructive advice to this thread - I just added a 034 Resonator Delete to my A4 and it sounds great. It gives the car a bit more rumble in the 2-3k range and produces absolutely zero drone. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a little boost in sound. In my opinion, if an AWE Track exhaust is a 10 out of 10 on the sound, and Stock is a 2/10, the resonator delete bumps you up to like 4 or 5. But to also echo others. Audi's & cheap don't go together. If you're strapped for cash and want to mod, German cars are not your best choice.

Really only two option at that price. A Resonator delete or a cheap downpipe. Resonator is def the better option as a DP will throw code with out a stage 2 tune which is prob out of your budget
