The MyAudi iPhone App Just Became Active - No Connect Subscription
I don’t have a Connect subscription, but hearing that Audi was going to push some connectivity features to owners that aren’t subscribing to Connect, I reloaded the MyAudi iPhone app back on my iPhone XS. The last time I had used the app was back in November of ‘16, when I still had my complementary subscription.
I’ve been opening the app and checking for the last month or so. I was able to sign in but there was no current vehicle information.
I just tried it again again and vehicle info was there. My fuel tank level and range, mileage driven, doors and hood closed, oil level, etc was all showing in the app and accurate. The Geofence, Speed and Valet alerts were not functional, however.
My car was unlocked in the garage so I tested the locking feature and it worked. Even let me set up Face ID to activate that feature. The car unlock function worked too.

Awesome, two days ahead of schedule. Just refreshed my app as well and am also now seeing vehicle status, range, and car finder. Definitely a step in the right direction with Audi Connect. The Apple Watch app looks great too.
Now they just need to make the paid subscription less overpriced and it'll be a pretty decent service.

Super exciting. Downloaded the app, tried to login, but it keeps timing out the request. I’m out of the country right now, so not sure if that has anything to do with that, but I’m looking forward to having these features.

My app was giving me a server down error message this morning right along with everyone else. I just tried it again and it connected. It retrieved and updated all of my vehicle data at 10:17 AM EST.

I assume that for this to work you still need to enter the 10 digit code that I didn't receive when I bought the car. Just seems like it would a nice feature to have.

I also don’t have the 10 digit vehicle code. Got the car CPO last week. Called parts department, they asked when I got the vehicle and if it was CPO. She’s trying to see if they’ll (audi dealership) pay for a new 10 digit code out of goodwill. Her words, “Since it’s CPO and it “should” be ready with every feature.” Crossing my fingers!
