I'm not sure we've figured out how to do everything manually, vehicle in motion being one of them. Even if someone has figured it out, the OBDEleven script certainly makes it easier. My sense is that the OBDEleven scripts are typically for more complicated coding.

Unless I get immunity, I never said there is no such thing as an OBD eleven. Any documents which state that I said that are "fake news".
My most humble apology to Clone, Robert, VGT, Morals, Jsilas, Audiyvr, h2olgd, and Kevin.
Even Google says that I am an idiot and deserve all the harassment and ridicule that is coming my way.
Only VAG could name something that appears to mimic the OBD II.
But stupid me never checked to see if such a thing actually existed.
If any of you are ever out here in East Overshoe New York :-), please stop and I will treat you all to dinner. :-) Really
Oh and I do know more about putting out fires than the OBD eleven; you just get a bucket of water and dump it on the fire, refill it 10,000 times and eventually the fire will go out. :-)

I've ordered an OBDeleven in anticipation of playing with the various hacks available on the new S4 being delivered sometime late next month or early July. This makes probably the 4th OBD-II device I'll own, each with their own various functions, benefits, pros, cons, etc. For such a "standard" interface, there certainly are plenty of people finding ways to capitalize on it differently!
