Did they add that strip that was mentioned earlier in the thread? I have read that forum users have had the best results investing in Dynamat or similar to damp the rear panel and the doors. The rear panel seems the most straightforward. I hate the idea of taking the door panels off.

Edited because I saw your previous posts. So it was $35 for the damping sheet since they had already taken apart your rear deck to put in the new sub to replace the poor sub they selected for the base audio. Wonder what it would cost? They'll need to charge me for labor.

Thank you - that was a good investment.

Dynamat from the trunk area
i too have some of these vibrations with certain types of music and at higher levels of bass. I have a sheet of Dynamat from my previous car speaker install and was hoping to cut it up into strips and adhere to the rear deck. My thought was to go from the trunk area without tearing the rear deck apart. Once Spring gets here (if ever, still snowed today in Ohio), i’ll apply and let you guys know if there are any improvements

In for the Dynamat report. Installation photos appreciated so we can see what we are getting into!
I put Dynamat in the doors of a previous car about 8 years ago and it made a *substantial* difference in sound quality, even on stock radio/speakers.
