RO: Ceramic Brake pads for 1LE PR code?
Hello guys,
I'm searching for some ceramic brake pads replacement for my Audi A4 3.0TDI with 1LE brakes on the front of the car. Seems like no manufacturer has cermic brake pads for 1LE PR. But...i found the attached brake pads on ebay that are ceramic and they will fit my car. The probelm is that i found nothing about them on the manufacturer site. Are they fake? Anyone has ever used them? Thank you.

type 8W PR 1LC (318 unpainted), 1LE (338 unpainted), 1LG (318 red), 1LH (338 red) all use the same pads, 8W0 698 151 AQ, in case that helps expand your search any.
The two other PR codes for those 4-piston fixed calipers are 1LD (318) and 1LF (338). They use different pads, 8W0 698 151 AD, but they also use different calipers and different caliper piston seal kit. No clue what's actually different about them.

Zimmermann claims a "low dust" pad, scroll down to the 22402.960.1 Are they actually ceramic? No idea.
Then there's Brembo's "Xtra" pads, whatever that means - https://www.bremboparts.com/europe/e.../pad/P_85_164X

@SMac770 , still...ATE web catalog, offers the same brake pads (13.0460-7329.2) as equivalent for both 8W0698151AQ and 8W0698151AD. WTF is wrong with Audi?!? Why they have to make it so hard? Ate sells the same product for both PR numbers (1LE and 1LF), but Audi has different part numbers for the same two PR numbers.

I saw the same. No idea. Same kind of question as to why 1LD and 1LF use different calipers. If it's because they're painted a different color (gray?), why then do they need a different piston seal kit and a different pad part number? Maybe something in the 8W brakes workshop manual, but I'm not paying to get back on erwin to get documents for a car I don't even own.

So, still didn't found ceramic brake pads for front brakes. I went with Brembo Xtra for the front brakes, and i must say that no one should buy this piece of s#&t. Even that they say that are low dust, the dust is there, on the wheel and it's way more than the OE's brake pads. And they are squeaking like hell. But, today i found that POWERSTOP makes Z17 EVOLUTION CERAMIC brake pads for this car. You can see them here! But i never heard anything about POWERSTOP. Any of you guys had any experience with this brand? 10x

Why wouldn't EBC DP32290C work?
