Default Season of Audi/Audi Financial Services

Greetings,

Yesterday I came across the "Season of Audi" promotion - I see that the A4 I plan to take delivery of during the promotion (it's on the boat from Emden now) will be eligible to have my first month's payment covered by Audi if I use Audi Financial Services.

Does anyone know what kind of rates customers with excellent credit are getting through AFS? It'd be nice to take advantage of this, but only if the APR is less than or equal to the 2.65% for 60 mos I can currently get from my CU.

I know I'm being impatient, but I have to have something to keep me busy while my car takes the "slow boat" here.

Thanks.

Does anyone know if the $750 bonus cash that was available in October is still available and combinable with the Season of Audi incentives?

Thanks!

Do you know what is available on the '17 Allroad? I've looked but haven't seen anything about that and I'm taking delivery in a couple weeks.

Is there anything in the fine print that would stop you from doing the financing through Audi, getting the first month payment, and then paying the entire loan off shortly after?

Season Of Audi also includes a new option package for the Premium trim. I like that they're making the virtual cockpit more widely available; it's one of my favorite features.

You can't pay off the AFS loan for six months minimum. I took a 15k loan at 3.9% so that the dealership would pay off the last month of my lease for $600. AFS will only pay for your deposition fee. I wanted to pay for the entire car in cash but it's a fair tradeoff since the interest will only be $150 for the six months. So I'll pay $279 a month for five months and then pay off the loan on the sixth month.

Dealership get points back for the loan so they wouldn't pay off my last lease payment if they couldn't defray their cost a little.

I paid cash for my current 2006 A4 with 215k miles on it and have been planning to pay cash for the 2017 A4 which will replace it - I've never been used to having a monthly car payment. So I'm wondering if there's any scenario in which taking advantage of the first months payment free through AFS offer makes sense for me.

Are you saying that AFS will pick up the first month of a loan payment? I thought that only applied to the first month of a lease payment. If that's the case my dealer lied to me and screwed me over.
