SIM Card Slot for Canadians
My A4 Technik (Prestige in the US) has a SIM card slot in the glove compartment right in between the 2 SD card readers. I understand this slot is only functional with AT&T SIM cards in the US but have not found any info for Canada.
I was wondering if any fellow Canadians have managed to make use of this SIM car slot to create a hotspot? If so, did it work right away, or did it require some code tweaks to get it to work?

No replies? Im in Costa Rica and have the same question, how to enable the SIM card slot to create a hotspot, and perhaps to use google maps. It already works with my iPhone hotspot, but would prefer to use a separate sim card.
