Just found out my MMI version 1178 is not compatible with the app for VIM, darn!

Using OBD11 apps, I got easy entry and CD ripping to work. Nice!

Also, I found the adaptation for adjusting air con's auto fan speed. I often find the automatic fan speed setting too high (and loud). This adaptation seems to work nicely in bringing the speed down. I initially did -2 which was too aggressive and I ended up making it -1. Hopefully others find this helpful.

• 4 blinks for turn signals
• Dimming DRL turn signals (subtle wink)
• Disabled side markers
• Autobahn/highway lights (headlights turn on at speeds above 130kph)
• Kessy comfort windows (touch and hold door lock sensor to close everything)

I also had my side markers tinted so they're practically invisible (black car)... Goes perfectly with disabled markers.

Thanks for the comments. Specific to tthe cockpit dimmer and ROW Air conditioning. Were these the one click changes from the App or did you have to manually go in and make the change? if you had to manually change could you provide the details? Thank you

Does anyone have the long coding for getting rid of the drl wink? I have an a5 and we only have the option to turn them on along with the Rear lights via the app. I know that the a4 has the option to turn on only the drl and set the brightness as well. So I figured I could use the same coding.

Yes, I made the changes in the main document into a table to include default values in the event you want it reverted back to factory.

Where are you guys getting your OBDEleven devices from? I’ve been waiting for months for the OBDEleven Pro to be available and its always out of stock. Even emailed them several times and they say a few months.

Pro is just an add on. You just enter a code and your account is now “Pro” which unlocks more features. The physical OBD11 is the same.
