Xpel works
Soooooooooo, I'm driving home from Martha's Vineyard yesterday afternoon somewhere on the Pike in Connecticut, left lane doing about 75mph, mid lane a small truck carrying some type of cart is ahead of me in the middle lane and a small flag on a wooden pole breaks lose and hits the front bumper of my car. Not a big boom - not a big pole, but I knew I was hit. When I got home I took a look see and a few scrapes in a couple of places on the bumper. Took a damp microfiber cloth and a few swipes was good as new. If I did not have Xpel, I think at the least I'd be looking at compounding to get the scratches out, maybe something more than that if it went through the clear-coat and paint.
I would recommend it in a heartbeat for anyone who buys their car and does a lot of highway driving. Is it worth the cost? Your call, but for me it sure is.

The cost is definitely high, but after I got mine done (z-shield from Ziebart) I am not stressing out when driving on the highway or on country roads. Mini rocks, road debris, or bugs are no longer a concern glad that you avoided a headache!

I'm really happy with mine too. My previous car (2015 VW Golf TDI) had lots of little chips in the paint by this mileage (17k) with my commute, but the A4 front end is still perfect.

I did a full hood, front bumper, quarter panels and mirrors on my A4 with Xpel and very happy. This is the 5th car I have done with Xpel and I highly recommend.

I also did full front. I used 3M as it was highly recommended because their new product now offers a warranty up to 3500 for damage. Warranty cost $50. Hopefully i’ll never have to go there, but that definitely shows a company standing behind their product. Interesting fact I learned: 3M started clear bra for US helicopters back in the day, and then Xpel stole the spotlight.
