Good Morning. I did a bit of searching in the forums and couldn't really find what I was looking for.


My Audi is shaking/knocking around 2-3rd gear. I can accelerate through it to avoid that but it's not always possible. I took it to my mechanic and he discovered a broken motor mount. He showed me near the front left around the wheel area. An actual alloy piece came off as he supported the engine. So I'm gathering this is my actual problem.


Here's where I'm confused. I'm living in Italy at the moment and he called the local Audi dealership and they quoted him a parts cost of about $140. I didn't have the money at the time so I took the car and I looked on some websites (amazon, ebay, etc) and the prices there are more like $20-$40. However, the pictures don't have a piece that resembles something like what fell off during the inspection (like a big washer). Is there an assembly/kit that includes the motor mount?


If anyone has a site or information about a parts illustration breakdown so I can get a look at the surrounding parts? Any help is appreciated.
