I have a 2006 Audi A4 Cabriolet. I was parked at a friends' apartment over the weekend and must have been hit because my frame is a little off kilter and my right fender is cracked.

Since then, my hood sensor has been thinking my hood is constantly open. On the digital display, the hood has been flashing and does it every time I turn the vehicle on. I have opened and closed my hood a dozen times and no luck.

Has anybody had this issue before? My coworkers think the wiring bundle got kinked or shorted by the impact but I can't seem to find where that is to attempt to fix it.

Start with the latch. My guess would be to check out the two wires that go right up into the latch shown in the photos on this website
